I'm too aggravated to even try to come up with something clever for this title...
I've been very vice-y lately. I'm trying to stop smoking AND lose weight at the same time. I'm probably gonna end up shooting someone. I don't even want to quit smoking all that bad. I just want to drop 20 pounds. I'll keep you posted on how this goes... grrrr. @!*#$$@#$*!%%# !!!!!!!!

I can ride my bike with no handle bars. Actually, I never mastered that skill.
There's something about pretty music, garlic-cheddar biscuits, and coffee in the middle of the afternoon that just makes me smile. As I've said, and will continue to say, I LOOOOVE FALL! and this combination of little things makes me feel cozy the way fall does. On a totally unrelated side note... I really want a bike. Adam and I have been talking about getting bikes for quite some time and haven't really gotten around to it yet. We're really good at talking about things like that and really bad at going through with them, but I'm determined to make this one happen as soon as we get some extra cash (which may take awhile). Anyway, I've really been thinking about the kind of bike I'd want. My ideal, you could say. I've searched craigslist, I've googled, I've garage-saled (word?? and okay, not quite, but I've paid attention anytime I see a "for sale" sign on a bike) and none of them seem up to par. Today I finally found a bike that seems close to what I want.

I love this bike because it's got the vintage feel (minus the price tag and issues that typically come with an older bike). So... Here's another goal to add to my list.
6.) Save up enough money to afford one of these fantastic bikes because, even though it doesn't have the vintage price tag, it's still gonna cost me a couple hundred bucks. I've never been good at saving money. We'll see how this one goes...

I feel it in my bones!
With it slowly turning into fall, my favorite season of all, I decided there couldn't be a better time to start a new blog. My last blog was very scattered and pretty much just sucked so, as they say, out with the old and in with the new. I hope to keep this little corner of the internet as a way to share my thoughts with others and just keep a better handle on my life. I've been doing a much better job at that lately. I've been regularly working out and eating better and have also gotten much better at this little thing called "productivity." This used to be a somewhat foreign concept to me, as I am extremely familiar with it's counterpart "procrastination," but lately I've been doing my part to change that.
Anyway, here's a little list of things I'd like to accomplish soon. If you have any ideas to speed this list along, it'd be mucho appreciated. =]
1) Keep up this whole working out thing. (I've been running with Adam and doing yoga/pilates on a fairly regular basis so my goal is to just keep this up and not let it be one of my "phases" I tend to go through.)
2) Make my balcony pretty. =] (As I said, I love fall. It's the prettiest season, in my opinion, simply because of all the beautiful colors so I think now would be a great time to spruce up the balcony and make it more cozy.)
3) Get a haircut. (I know, this seems like a pretty silly thing for a to-do list, but I have been talking about getting my hair cut for well over a month now and it has yet to happen. Plus, they're just soooo expensive!)
4) Hair color... (*see previous explanation* =P)
5) Cook more. (I'm a pescetarian while Adam is a full-fledged omnivore so at times it seems easier to go out and not have to cater to both of our food desires, but that's breaking the bank (and certainly not helping with my "being healthy" kick) so I'm definitely open to new recipes that fit both our needs. I'll add that, while he does eat meat, he certainly loves his veggies so he's not all too difficult to cook for. I'm just looking for something new to try at home that won't make me poor or fat. =]
-I'll definitely be adding to this list later, but I'm out for now.
